Title: IP address mapping, and how to make this work
Post by moose on Dec 18th, 2005, 10:17pm
We have many different usb devices, all working with your program under our lab conditions, and we would like to roll it out.  Our problem is on our network we dont use windows networking names at all,  we have people who connect to us and we take the data from their usb device.  Normally we use ms term client's serial port sharing and just connect to them with the clients IP address, which works great so far.

Is there a way to use this program to "call" the remote computer by IP instead?

We HAVE NOT been able to make that work at all?  If not any ideas?  VPN's?  anything?

Thanks for your help and time.

Yes you can, just enter your client IP address and click Next.
