This has gone downhill, unfortunately. The Windows is now unable to properly recognize the hasp devices, and the USB over Network server is giving me an error message when I try and start it up. Program cannot start because of the following error: Error (2).Module: FtShellApp (216).

Hi Tim, Virtual Serial Port Control is developed especially for developers. This is not a product but component that allows developers to create virtual COM ports from their applications, so any serial application can open that virtual COM port. Network Serial Port Kit is application. It should be installed on 2 sides: local and remote. On the remote side it shares physical COM port. On the local side it creates virtual COM port and redirects all traffic from it to remote shared COM port. Both solutions creates virtual COM ports, but it's completely different products. Thanks!

Thanks again Andrew, sorry for so many posts. I haven't found where to get the API or VB documentation for the different packages yet. Where is it for NSPK API and VSPC ActiveX component? ...Tim

Hi Gabrie, Thanks for your request. A lot of our customers use the solution exactly as you described. Yes, the feature you asked for is really useful. And be sure, we'll implement it in the next versions. Currently the only solution is pre-configure client sides, to connected only specified devices (by Device ID)automatically and do not change configuration. As soon as our solution runs as system service, user even do not need to launch GUI each time and configure connection. Thanks.

Hi Bakaneko, First of all, thanks for detailed information. Yes, really, it would be great if Client allows to force connect remote USB device occupied by another Client. Also command-line support is good feature. Be sure, we'll implement these features. Thanks!
